About the Photographer:
Mariah Lea is a fourth generation photographer. Her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother are and were all photographers. Born in Hawai’i and raised in the bucolic driftless area of Wisconsin, Mariah grew up steeped in a house full of artistic wisdom and learned to appreciate light and observe moments like a documentarian from a young age. In our digital era, Mariah creates with the intention of longevity and she expresses that in the way she works with light and looks to film for inspiration.
When she’s not taking photos, you’ll find Mariah hiking, immersed in sci fi and fantasy stories, baking sourdough, being an absolute coffee nerd, dancing to live music, and cooking up a storm.
