The doorframe on the ewa side of the Playroom sustained extensive damage recently. John Reyno of Hawaii Modern to the rescue! A section of the frame nearly cracked off but John was able to complete a perfect repair and the crack is no longer visible.
What a transformative experience to view such an innovative and functional work of art that people happened to live in!
The Liljestrand House is listed on the Hawai‘i State and the United States National Register of Historic Places.
