Upholstery, Drapes and Curtains

New Upholstery, Drapes and Curtains!

The upholstery on the rattan furniture in the downstairs playroom had become threadbare and was beginning to split despite it being the third-generation fabric. The cushion foam had nearly collapsed. The drapes in the library and curtains in the master bedroom, all original to 1952, were in terrible shape and were starting to disintegrate. Thanks to an incredible donation of fabric from interior designer Nicholas Proietti / Nicholas Vincent Design, we were able to complete these projects. The drapes and curtains are a near perfect match to the original. The new upholstery captures the spirit of the former upholstery. We are absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out!

This home serves as more than inspiration. This magnificent work changed the way I think about my field, and I will be sure to visit again; as a student, volunteer, and as a professional.
